Simon Rees-Howell is a partner in Jeffrey Green Russell's commercial litigation department. He has extensive experience in bringing and defending commercial contractual, construction and professional negligence claims and in conducting domestic and international arbitrations for individuals and organisations based in the UK and abroad.
Simon specialises in dealing with intellectual property disputes which include infringements of copyright, usually those relating to literary and artistic works, photographs and films, infringements of trademarks and design rights, passing-off, breaches of confidence, unfair business practices and defamation. Simon frequently works very closely with lawyers in many other jurisdictions worldwide.
His approach to dispute resolution is to provide cost-effective and practical solutions combined with the selective and swift implementation of civil and criminal remedies for the protection and enforcement of related rights and personal and trade reputations.
