property litigation
Led by partner Franklin Price, the Jeffrey Green Russell Property Litigation Group handles all aspects of commercial property disputes and acts on behalf of both landlords and tenants. We advise on the full spectrum of issues including restrictive covenants and their enforcement, disputes over boundaries, easements, options agreements, arrears, rights to assign, lease renewals and break clauses, and evictions. Involvements include advising on disputed dilapidated claims, lease renewals under the 1954 Landlord and Tenant Act, advising on whether a freeholder can object to a proposed assignee and obtaining injunctions on behalf of landlords against tenants who are abusing their user provisions.
We take a hands-on approach to litigation and often advise our clients on how they can best anticipate potential disputes and so avoid the risks and costs of lengthy litigation in the first place. As and when the need for litigation does arise, we are tenacious, diligent and rigorous in the defence of our clients' rights.
