Congratulations are due to long time client of Jeffrey Green Russell, Robert Burton. On the same date (1st April 2006) he sold his interest in the UK master franchisee of the Dollar and Thrifty Car Rental franchises and acquired the UK master franchise for Auntie Anne’s soft pretzels.
With just six stores currently, Robert will be looking to grow the brand throughout the UK and Ireland, through sub-franchise. A Jeffrey Green Russell company commercial team led by John O’Connell assisted Robert in concluding the acquisition of the existing Auntie Anne’s business in the UK and the franchise arrangements with Auntie Anne’s, the US franchisor.
