JGR attends the UK's first ever divorce fair

JGR spearheaded the collection of law firms that, along with an eclectic mix of life coaches, financial consultants and psychic healers were on hand to give free advice to the 300 or so visitors to the UK's first divorce fair in Brighton on 15 March 2009. The "Starting Over Show", as it was known, offered everything that a future divorcee could want.

JGR's head of family, Franklin Price, who attended the show this year said he hoped to put a more positive slant on what is for many a very negative time in their lives. "My aim is not to encourage divorce- I would only advise it as a last resort. But for those who have got to the stage where there is no other option, it can be very confusing to know where and how to start, and that is where we fit in. We went to the Starting Over Show to explain the options available, both practical and legal, in a more informal setting. We found it a very useful experience and hope those we spoke to did too".
