As we indicated previously, the government’s alcohol strategy is now out for consultation and this talks about issues such as minimum unit pricing at 45 pence per unit, increase in the number of temporary event notices, licences for motorway service station areas and health authorities being given the power to contribute specifically to local authority cumulative impact policies.
